“One of the tips I was given during Careline Training was “Keep one ear on the Client and the other on the Holy Spirit”. I try to prepare for my shifts each fortnight by asking for the anointing to do this, and I often feel He joins us in our conversations.

I have Clients saying things like “you seem to have such an understanding of what I am going through” or “that has given me such assurance that God is coming alongside to help me”.

I can tell them honestly that the wisdom and understanding are not mine, but I am privileged to be used as a conduit by the Lord to bring comfort and hope. And that is not false modesty! God does use us supernaturally to provide help.

So the prayer-times become very rich indeed as I kneel at the feet of Jesus alongside my Client, and He ministers to us both.”
